About the Contest
The Early Bird Exchange Club of Coldwater invites all residents, students, and visitors to participate in the Flags Across Branch County Photo Contest. We’re looking for inspiring photographs that capture the beauty, meaning, and pride of the American flag displayed throughout our communities.
Contest Rules
- Eligibility: Open to all ages. Both amateur and professional photographers are welcome.
- Theme: Photographs must feature the American flag displayed somewhere in Branch County, Michigan.
- Submission Period: Entries will be accepted from 04-20-2026 to 05-26-2026 (by 11:59 PM EST).
- Entry Limit: Each participant may submit up to three photos.
- Format: Photos must be high-resolution and submitted digitally (JPEG or PNG).
- Originality: Entries must be original work and not previously published or entered in other contests.
- Political Entries will be disqualified.
How to Enter
- Take a photo that creatively and respectfully displays the American flag in Branch County.
- Email your photo(s) to flagphotocontestbc@gmail.com with the subject line “Flags Across Branch County Photo Contest”. Include your name, age, contact information, and location where the photo was taken.
Prizes
- Grand Prize: $100, Plaque, and photo featured at Healing Hill of Hope Ceremony 6/25/2026
- Runner-Up: $50 and photo featured at Healing Hill of Hope Ceremony 6/25/2026
- Honorable Mention: $25 and photo featured at Healing Hill of Hope Ceremony 6/25/2026
Judging Criteria
Entries will be judged based on creativity, composition, emotional impact, and how well they capture the spirit of the American flag in Branch County.
Important Dates
- Submission Deadline: 05/26/2026, 11:59 PM EST
- Winners Announced on WTVB: 6/15/2026
- Winners will be invited to the Healing Hill of Hope Ceremony and be celebrated: 06/25/2026
